Meetup Okiwi : Path to happiness with Open Source
Le Talk est en Anglais.
Rencontre avec Krzysztof Cieślak, contributeur open source incontournable de l'écosystème F#.
Open Source Software has already changed the world, it powers our phones, computers, Internet. Even big, conservative companies, that couple of years ago stated that OSS is dangerous, nowadays are building their products in the open, and are trying to more deeply cooperate with communities using those products. In this talk I’ll try to show why investing into Open Source is really good, pragmatic way of building a software. I’ll describe the problem from 3 different point of views – company building its projects in the open, company using OSS to build its projects and single developer that wants to participate in this global OSS movement – and I’ll try to show what advantages can OSS bring in those cases.
